The day we drove it was cloudy and overcast, which obscured the upper peaks along the road. It was also a Sunday in late August, and it seemed 1\/2 of Canada was there with us. Looking back at the pictures I took, I can see that I was not too excited about stopping. traffic at the visitor center as we did on a previous trip.\n\t\t\t\t<\/figcaption><\/figure><figure class='gallery-item'>\n\t\t\t<div class='gallery-icon landscape'>\n\t\t\t\t<a href='https:\/\/barneymc.com\/?attachment_id=675'><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" src=\"https:\/\/barneymc.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/IP-glacier2-150x150.jpg\" class=\"attachment-thumbnail size-thumbnail\" alt=\"\" aria-describedby=\"gallery-1-675\" \/><\/a>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<figcaption class='wp-caption-text gallery-caption' id='gallery-1-675'>\n\t\t\t\tThe glacier views are quite so good at the turnout a mile from the parking lots.\n\t\t\t\t<\/figcaption><\/figure><figure class='gallery-item'>\n\t\t\t<div class='gallery-icon landscape'>\n\t\t\t\t<a href='https:\/\/barneymc.com\/?attachment_id=681'><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" src=\"https:\/\/barneymc.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/IP-walkway-150x150.jpg\" class=\"attachment-thumbnail size-thumbnail\" alt=\"\" aria-describedby=\"gallery-1-681\" \/><\/a>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<figcaption class='wp-caption-text gallery-caption' id='gallery-1-681'>\n\t\t\t\tThere is a new attraction, similar to the Grand Canyon, a plastic walkway over the edge.\n\t\t\t\t<\/figcaption><\/figure><figure class='gallery-item'>\n\t\t\t<div class='gallery-icon landscape'>\n\t\t\t\t<a href='https:\/\/barneymc.com\/?attachment_id=680'><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" src=\"https:\/\/barneymc.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/IP-lake-150x150.jpg\" class=\"attachment-thumbnail size-thumbnail\" alt=\"\" aria-describedby=\"gallery-1-680\"
