Not just for the bayous, these things are the best way to get around while gold hunting in the 40 Mile River area of Alaska.\n\t\t\t\t<\/figcaption><\/figure><figure class='gallery-item'>\n\t\t\t<div class='gallery-icon landscape'>\n\t\t\t\t<a href='https:\/\/barneymc.com\/?attachment_id=653'><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" src=\"https:\/\/barneymc.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/VM-jet-outboard-150x150.jpg\" class=\"attachment-thumbnail size-thumbnail\" alt=\"\" aria-describedby=\"gallery-1-653\" \/><\/a>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<figcaption class='wp-caption-text gallery-caption' id='gallery-1-653'>\n\t\t\t\tJet outboards are a close second. But conversion kits are $2500, and a new 30 HP Yamaha is on special now for $6000. I think my electric trolling motor will have to do for me.\n\t\t\t\t<\/figcaption><\/figure><figure class='gallery-item'>\n\t\t\t<div class='gallery-icon landscape'>\n\t\t\t\t<a href='https:\/\/barneymc.com\/?attachment_id=661'><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" src=\"https:\/\/barneymc.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/VM-RoofTopBoatRearHungMotor-150x150.jpg\" class=\"attachment-thumbnail size-thumbnail\" alt=\"\" aria-describedby=\"gallery-1-661\" \/><\/a>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<figcaption class='wp-caption-text gallery-caption' id='gallery-1-661'>\n\t\t\t\tI have been thinking of a rooftop setup. This rig has the outboard hanging off the back.
